Common Admission Test CAT results 2013 are declared

Common Admission Test (CAT) results 2013 are declared. You can check the result and score card on the official CAT website. CAT is conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for selection of students for their business administrative programs.

Each IIM has a separate cut-off and percentile. The criterion for short-listing is different from one IIM to the other. The candidates are short listed on the basis of CAT score and previous academic records. Each IIM will send interview letters to the candidates it has short-listed. The short-listed candidates will appear for the group discussion and personal interview. 

During Personal Interview, the candidate can be asked to write a short passage or essay given by the institute. The topic for the essay may vary from Current Affairs to political or economic issue. For this, the candidate will be given a duration of 30-minutes to complete the task. 
The work experience of the candidate is also very crucial for evaluation of selection procedure of CAT 2013. 

The weightage generally given during selection process is as follows:
CAT 2013 score: 20% 
Class 10th Marks: 15%
Class 12th Marks: 10%
Graduation: 15%
